Texts
*Turns around slowly* Oh Hai.
So I want to talk about texts. We live in a technology driven society, mais non? Lately texts have been a driving force of communication. The little "ping" of excitement of that one gets knowing the someone has thought to text them. It's become a sort of a double edged knife. On one side is the convenience of the texting, for whatever reasons they may be and then on the other side we lose the personal touch of voice, the little high's and lows of ones voice as they cascade into your ear drum. I think with anything there has to be a fine balance of text and talk. Will I find it? Stay tuned!
Another thing, is there such thing as "text etiquette"? I mean there is etiquette in real life. Like when you hold the door open for another person, or leave your seat so that someone on crutches or an elderly person can sit. For instance, if you were the person who initiated the text, is it your job to end the conversation? How long do you wait to text the other person back?
And for my final thought. "Damn you autocorrect" moments actually do happen! *Note: above.
