Caution to the wind.

Welcome welcome welcome to summer!

There has to be some magic to summer. The sun! It's magic. I can take cold and sun over warm and rainy any day! Although I would much prefer warm and sun!

I have this funny feeling that this summer is going to hurtle forward faster than a cannon ball, lemme tell you! I have plenty of travel trips coming up to keep my mind occupied and always looking forward to something. Along with my love of lists (come to think of it I haven't posted a "lists" blog in a while, stay tuned) I love love love looking forward to something. It can be as small as a lunch date with mom, or something as big as my South East Asia trip 2012! I guess the reason I love looking forward to things is that it makes the moundain just that much more bearable! Looking forward, I love it!

It's this whole action of forward motion. Not just a physical doing but a mental one as well. Pressing on, if you will. Staying still has its place as well; atop of a mountain or "Red light, Green Light" game. Yet moving forward is natural. It's one foot over the next.

I was at a point during the past week where I was just plain apathetic, I was un-happy about certain things and adopted a very ungrateful way of thinking. I actually kind of pissed off my brother with it. I just plain sucked! Then I realized that I never want to be apathetic, it's just plain pathetic! (I'm a poetic laureate, what can I say?) I also realized that apathy breeds stationary thinking. Yup, never again.

Therefore people, I'm pressing on. Throwing caution to the wind and most of all having fun while doing it.
