I've found a new hobbie! I love photography! I know photography to some is a means of income and is their profession but to me it's a new hobbie and I am completely enthralled with it!
I recently bought myself a DSLR camera, my baby, the Nikon D3100. Lemme tell you, it's mint! It's sleek lines, its' sexy lens. I'm in love. It's sort of taken over my brain and thoughts. For instance if I'm at my computer and I look outside, I think "Hmm, at this angle the sun makes those trees look so pretty and haunting, it'll make a great photo" or since my friend Kamila is also into photography as I am, I look at the work schedule and see when we're both off so we can go photographing together.
Autumn has made it even more of an obsession. The trees turning colour, something in the way the air feels. Beautiful!
For me, the number one reason why I love it so much is that in many ways it can demonstrate a feeling, a moment visually. The way the light can hit some ones face and all of sudden the look on thier face is just amplified. A candid smile, a pensive look. It's a way to relive a memory without having to delve into the realm of inception! Hahah. I'll post more photos of my "works" as I go along but here is one of my favourites so far.
